Risk and uncertainty assessments for geologic storage of CO2
This Report provides guidance related to the processes, methodologies, and tools available to assess risks and uncertainties for the geologic storage of CO2 in subsurface formations. Building on a growing library of resources related to CO2 storage risks and uncertainties, this document provides a synopsis of such resources and elaborates on how uncertainty and risks are integrated to allow both qualitative and quantitative assessments at each phase of a CO2 storage project’s lifecycle.
