This document presents an example of a Comparative Assessment (CA) recommendation report for a hypothetical Reference Case field. The primary objective of the Report is to demonstrate the application and scalability of the IOGP CA Guideline (IOGP Report 678 – Guideline for comparative assessment in decommissioning) and the CA process. The outputs and inputs are not intended to provide a template or conclusion that can be used for similar structures or asset types. The Reference Case field is not based on an existing field, and the infrastructure and context were developed for the purpose of providing a range of infrastructure types and external drivers that require consideration in the decision-making process.
