Airline safety assessment mechanism
The airline safety assessment mechanism (ASAM) provides a framework for carrying out a rational and structured safety assessment of a commercial airline and its scheduled flights. To carry out the assessment, a range of information is required that is specific to the airline and flight being assessed. This information might be available within the company carrying out the assessment or using recognized data sources.
