<p>The Diving System Assurance recommended practice provides a systematic approach that verifies the adequacy of a diving system, its operating processes and the competence of personnel with the minimum agreed standards.</p> <p>Diving Operations require organization, plant and equipment that are fit for purpose, properly maintained and where all elements function on demand to ensure the safety of the divers and support personnel. This can be achieved by design, risk assessment, planned maintenance, inspection, testing and audit.</p> <p>This new report provides clients with a recognized means of obtaining assurance that a diving system is fit for purpose and meets current industry standards.</p> <p>It applies to diving system designers, manufacturers, class, purchasers, operators, auditors, verification/certifying societies and clients.
