<p>In 2007, the joint Health Committee of the International Association of Oil &amp; Gas Producers (IOGP) and IPIECA, the global oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues, published IOGP Report 393, <i>Health Performance Indicators - A guide for the oil and gas industry</i>.</p> <p>Content from the report was used to develop two tools that can be used:</p> <ul> <li>to assess health leading performance indicators within individual companies, and </li><li>to compare performance between different parts of a company and between participating companies. </li></ul> <p>Both tools were used in 2016 to gauge health performance between participating IOGP and IPIECA member companies; the results are published in this report.</p> <p>The scope of the health performance indicators reporting differs from that used for the safety, process safety and environmental performance reporting in that data are included for both upstream and downstream activities.</p> <p>There are no major changes to this report compared with Report 2015h, <i>Health Performance Indicators - 2015 data.</i></p>
