In 2007, the joint Health Committee of the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) and IPIECA, the global oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues, published IOGP Report 393 – Health Performance Indicators – A guide for the oil and gas industry. Content from that report was used to develop two tools: • to assess health leading performance indicators within individual companies, and • to compare performance between different parts of a company and between participating companies. Both tools were used in 2018 to gauge health performance between participating IOGP and IPIECA member companies; the results are published in this report. The scope of the health performance indicators reporting differs from that used for the safety, process safety and environmental performance reporting in that data are included for both upstream and downstream activities. This report is published as part of the IOGP data series. IOGP produces annual reports of Safety, Process Safety, Aviation Safety and Environmental Performance Indicators.
